Fundamental properties, experimental, characterization methods, process stimulation, relation of fundamental properties and processing behavior.
The scope of the Applied Rheology Division is to provide a technical forum focused on the application of fundamental rheological properties to the understanding to practical problems in the plastics industry. In the area of characterization, the focus is limited to rheologicaltechniques. The technical objectives are to provide a forum for high quality technical exchanges in the following areas: experimental methods for rheological characterization; rheologicalmodels for industrial process simulation; relationships between fundamental rheologicalproperties and processing behavior (i.e., "property-processability relationships").
