Abstract:
The Color & Appearance Division of SPE working with the Detroit Colour Council have put together a great program for the CAD RETEC® 2008 in Dearborn, Michigan. These two great organizations complement each other extremely well. The Detroit Color Council focuson on both exterior and interior coloring issues within the automotive industry for all materials, while the SPE CAD specifically looks at the coloring of plastics but across all industries including automotive.

Our specific theme is "Driving Colour into the Next Decade." By the time we meet inthe fall of 2008, the automotive industry in particular will be working on color and styling trends for 2010 and beyond. We will start the cdonference with a key note address from THE CAR LAB looking at the state of the auto industry on a world-wide basis as well as styling trends looking into the next decade. Don't miss this talk!

We are continuing our offering of the New Technology Forum which allows exhibitors to showcase their companies and their products or services. A new twist is we are doing this late afternoon on Monday, followed by a networking reception held in the tabletop area.

And don't forget the golf outing organized by the DCC for Sunday morning and the opening reception on Sunday evening.
