PD3 is short for the Product Design and Development Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers. PD3 is a newly formed division, created to cater to the needs of the plastic product designer. PD3 is the fastest growing division within SPE and has an aggressive board of directors that are focused on catering to the needs of the plastic product designer.

Division Scope:
The objective of the Product Design & Development Division is the continual improvement in the quality of the design and development of plastic products. That ongoing goal will be achieved by providing a forum for designers, their suppliers, customers and educators to come together for the dissemination of technical information that is of specific interest to the plastics product design community.
