Roger
Allen Tamsen passed away Dec. 23,
2006 at the age of 67 years. Roger
graduated in 1962 from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree
in chemical engineering. His career
was spent in manufacturing with an
emphasis in plastics engineering.
He worked at Globe Union (Johnson
Controls) in the battery division;
Badger Meter in meter casings and
retired from In-Sink-Erator in disposer
manufacturing. The Society of Plastics
Engineers-Milwaukee Section has bestowed
several awards on Roger for his contributions
to the Society especially for his
enduring diligence, unselfish use
of his time and long-term guidance
for the education to students in the
field of plastics development. Roger's
cherished soul touched so many lives
of family and friends with love and
care.
He is survived
by his wife, Mary Alice; daughter,
Genevieve; sons, Roger II (Julie)
and Andrew and Christopher. Further
Survived by nieces, nephews, relatives
and friends. Preceded in death by
his parents, Rudolf and Leona (nee
Kutz). Roger has been a devoted member
and officer of St. Lucas Evangelical
Lutheran Church and the family wishes
memorials to St. Lucas's Debt Retirement
Fund, if desired.
