The aims of the FAPSIG are:

  • Setting up a database with failed plastic products and preventive actions.

  • Establishing a European network.

  • Writing joint papers, like for ANTEC2007 and PMI2007 in Gent.

  • A first European one day meeting in Amsterdam in June 2007.

 

 

Division Scope:
The scope of the Failure Analysis & Prevention SIG addresses all aspects of failure mechanisms, fracture analysis and predictability including reliability.
