| The scope of the Quality and Continuous Improvement
SIG is to promote an understanding of the
tools and techniques used to affect the quality
of a process or product. The SIG will attempt
to (1) act as a resource for Society members
for information on how to implement and maintain
a quality-oriented system and (2) encourage
the exchange of information about quality
issues and the quality process. Some subjects
of interest under Total Quality Management
include quality function deployment, statistical
process control, problem solving, and experimental
design. Information will be disseminated to
the members of the Society through such media
as workshops and Society-sponsored publications
and events. |
