For Making Your Time at ANTEC a Success
ANTEC is a large and sometimes overwhelming experience
for people who have not figured out the best way
navigate all the options and opportunities available.
To make ANTEC a success for you, consider the
following tips:
- Set some goals.
Take a minute and really think about
what needs to happen at ANTEC for it to be worth
your time and money! Write down specific goals
on why you are attending ANTEC. Some common
examples include:
- I want to broaden my professional network
with people who work in my industry area
to enhance my own productivity and expertise.
- I want to be sure to meet the following
customers or colleagues while I am there
(make a list).
- I want to hear about new technologies
in my area of the industry and evaluate
whether or not they are right for my company.
- My company is struggling with a specific
problem, and I want to seek out advice and
direction from others with similar experience.
- I want to enhance my skills by taking
a seminar while at ANTEC.
- I am unemployed or an independent consultant
