Kennedy Space Center Tour & "Dine with an Astronaut" - Monday, March 5
Visit the only shuttle launch facility! After trying out the simulators in the Astronaut Hall of Fame, next stop is the visitor center complex. Feel like you are walking on the moon when you watch the 3D IMAX movies, and visit the Saturn V Center. During lunch time guests can dine on a buffet lunch accompanied by a talk from an Astronaut. This is a great opportunity for questions, autographs and photos.

Golf Outing at Eagle Creek Golf Club - Monday, March 5
Designed by world-renowned golf course architects Ron Garl and Howard Swan, Eagle Creek is an extraordinary 18-hole, 7,198 yard championship golf course. Eagle Creek is the only Par 73 golf course in Central Florida, offering five par 5’s, genuine Scottish style revetted bunkers and Florida’s first Mini-Verde Greens. Since its 2004 opening, Eagle Creek was voted among the Top 10 New Courses in Florida by Travel and Leisure Magazine since 2000 along with being voted Best 18th Hole in Florida by Florida Golf Central Magazine and “Top 10 Golf Course Restaurants in Orlando”, Orlando Magazine. Student Poster Session - Tuesday, March 6
Plastics applications for a wide variety of products and consumer goods continue to grow worldwide. Reuse and recycling of many plastic products, however, remain a problem that needs to be approached from the environmental viewpoint. Both, reuse and recycling affect not only the environment but an economy as well. Participation in the GPECTM student posters presentations provides students with an important forum to discuss a particular research with an industry members and to get their feedback. Students will also be exposed to plastics industry achievements and concerns.
