Understanding Pneumatic Conveying in the Plastics Industry

Date:
March 17, 2010 11:00am - 12:00pm

Abstract:
Pneumatic conveying is widely used in the plastics industry, but how to get the best value from a pneumatic conveying system is rarely understood. This webinar will look at the basics of pneumatic conveying, explain the advantages and disadvantages of positive pressure systems and negative pressure (vacuum systems), show the different types of common pneumatic conveying systems in the plastics industry, and discuss common problems such as angel-hair generation and filter blockage.
