NIST Post-doc Position

A post-doc position is available at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The prospective candidate will be required to characterize the rheological behavior of shear thickening fluids used in ballistic applications and relate the material characteristics of these fluids to the long-term durability of soft body armor. In addition, research opportunities exist for the applicant to investigate the rheology of renewable systems. Experience with ARES type shear rheometers is desirable.
