ASTM E84 for High-Impact polystyrene

Does anyone know if high-impact polystyrene (w/o FR additives) meets the requirements for ASTM E84 (Steiner Tunnel test for flame spread rating of <25 and a smoke-developed index of <450? Looking for some data to show that it does ot does not meet this requirement.

I think that your best bet would be to contact the material supplier and ask for specifics. In some cases, the supplier may not have thought about the application for building and construction, so it would make sense to alert them directly.
ASTM 84 and PS
NO. HIPS burns at rapid rate without forming char and with lots of heavy black smoke. W/O FR, it will not pass FR84, which is a pretty severe test that even most of the FR materials fail to pass.
