Postdoctoral Position: Polymer Science and Engineering

A postdoctoral research position is immediately available in Prof. Derek Patton’s group in the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering or a closely related field. The position will require a strong background and knowledge in polymer extrusion, twin-screw extrusion, rheology, and polymer analysis. Preferred candidates will also have knowledge and experience in synthetic polymer chemistry. Independence, creativity, and good oral and written communication skills are essential.
