Postdoctoral Research Associate Position Available
in Block Copolymer/Nanoparticle Nanocomposites

A post-doctoral position in the field of Block Copolymer/Nanoparticle Nanocomposites is available immediately in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State University. Ideal candidates should have experience in self-assembly of nanocomposites (both in bulk and thin films) composed of block copolymers and nanoparticles, orientation and ordering of block copolymers, synthesis of well-defined polymer-grafted nanocrystals (e.g., QDs, magnetic nanoparticles, ferroelectric nanoparticles, etc.) using living polymerizations including ATRP and RAFT, and a broad range of structural characterization skills. A Ph.D. in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields is required.
