Postdoctoral Fellow

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position beginning as early as September 1, 2009. The postdoctoral fellow will join a multidisciplinary team of faculty and students working on a NASA funded project to investigate materials for use in multifunctional composite materials which simultaneously carry
load and store energy. Candidates with backgrounds in materials science, chemistry, mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, or chemical engineering are encouraged to apply. Expertise in polymer and composite processing and structural and/or electromagnetic characterization of
materials is preferred.
