A postdoctoral research position is available immediately in the
Biomaterials and Drug Delivery Laboratory, Department of Biomedical
Engineering, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. This
position involves the synthesis and characterization of novel polymers
for drug delivery and biomedical applications. Requirements include
strong experimental skills in polymer synthesis and solution
characterization (GPC, NMR) the ability to work independently and as
part of an interdisciplinary team, and excellent written and oral
communication skills. The initial appointment is one year and can be
renewed depending on the availability of the funds and the mutual interest.
