Don Root (with the red tie) again coordinated the Annual Toy Plastivan Donation for needy children in the Detroit area. The toys were molded by American Plastic Toys in Walled Lake, MI using 12,000 pounds of plastic donated by Chevron-Phillips Chemical Company. The toy vans were presented to the United Way and the Washington Lions Club for distribution.
