Summary

I have served in various leadership positions in SPE, such as the Division Chair of the Engineering Properties & Structure Division. Besides, I served as the president of the Chinese American Society of Plastic Engineers from 2013 to 2016 and the vice president of the Chinese American Chemical Society Southwest Chapter from 2011 to 2013. At the University of Connecticut, I served as the director of the Polymer Program from 2018-2021. I have organized over 60 symposia at various national/international conferences. I think my previous experience and skills qualify me for a leadership role in SPE.
