Brenneman and Wogoman of Bayer Health Care molded an optical reagent sensor and an electrochemical sensor into a device separated by an insert with a precise length.  After molding, the insert is removed,leaving a capillary channel.  During testing,the sample is drawn into the capillary for testing.  (RDC 10/11/1010)
