Milling
Milling is a grinding process for breaking up nanoparticle aggregates and forcing them into a polymer matrix. Melo et al of the Federal University of North Rio Grande, Brazil used milling to break up silica aggregates and embed them in an epoxy matrix. (2363-2375) Journal of Composite Materials 42 #22 (2008)
