Thermoplastic polymer for electrically conductive thermoforming applications
Negandhi and Manian of Ovation Polymer Technology and Engineered Materials, Ohio, have developed conductive materials for electronic packaging consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate glycol copolyester, 1 to 6 wt% carbon nanotubes,  2 to 30 wt% of a copolymer of ethylene with a higher .alpha.-olefin, wherein the copolymer is of ethylene with the higher .alpha.-olefin is grafted with maleic anhydride or glycidyl methacrylate, 1 to 10 wt% a functionalized rubbery polymer, 1 to 10 wt% acrylic based core-shell polymer and 0.5 to 6 wt% lubricant selected from the group consisting of high density polyethylene and polyester wax.
