Technical Affiliations (Divisions & Special Interest Groups)
Technical Divisions
Personalize your SPE membership to meet your current and changing information needs through one or more of our 24 technical Divisions. Whether your focus is basic research, applying new technology, or tracking the technology that affects your customers, SPE technical Divisions are your first source of information and contacts in your specialty or interest area(s). Membership in one SPE technical Division is included with your membership, but we invite you to join as many as your needs or interest require.

Special Interest Groups
Explore new and/or emerging areas of plastics science or technology with like-minded peers, and help set the Society’s technical agenda through membership in one or more of our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Or, develop your own SIG to address a technical area of concern to you. Affiliation with an SPE Special Interest Group is free with your membership.

Keep abreast of new technologies, get expert answers to your plastics questions, find solutions to the challenges on your desk today, stay in contact with your local industry, and expand your professional network through membership in one of SPE’s more than 100 local geographic Sections.
