| Division Scope: The Thermoplastic Materials and Foams Division is organized to provide a focal point for the interchange of information relating to non-vinyl thermoplastic resins including fluoropolymers, polyamides, polyesters, polyolefins, polystyrenes, their filled and/or reinforced products, and their foamable products. Its interests lie in stimulating the development of scientific and engineering knowledge. By encouraging participation between producers and consumers, it aims to provide information on new developments which shall encompass synthesis, characterization, fabrication, safe handling, application, servicability, and marketing. |
