This intensive five-day program
includes classroom instruction and plant tours.
Group lunches, welcome receptions and a dinner
facilitate maximum exposure and interaction among
the instructors and attendees.
Classroom
Instruction
Professional leaders in the thermoforming industry
teach this intensive course. With these experts,
attendees review the basic concepts of thermoforming
and expand their understanding of thermosets and
thermoplastics. The course covers heating the
sheet, forming equipment and thermoforming techniques,
design guidelines and considerations, detail part
design and essential follow-through. Costing,
purchasing specifications, cost-reduction techniques,
tooling and all-important troubleshooting receive
particular emphasis.
Who
Should Attend
Anyone considering or currently having products
thermoformed. An excellent way to gain a working
knowledge for better understanding and communication
of all aspects of the thermoforming processes.
Of great benefit in designing, engineering, tooling,
production, trimming, secondary operations, selling
and purchasing.

3 or 4 year program in plastics technology. According
to Bill McConnell, this is the most advanced and
best equipped high school plastics shop in the
country.
The shop includes industrial grade thermoformers,
molding machines, an extruder, and fabricating,
decorating, and material testing equipment. Students
are encouraged to explore and experiment with
different processes, materials, and design solutions.

recognized for its Better Bath Components product
line of thermoformed bath and kitchen products
marketed to the manufactured housing, modular
housing, and RV industries. Other thermoformed
products produced by Kinro Composites include

six-foot depth provides opportunities for large
parts such as front, rear, and top sections for
RVs; large truck bed liners; agricultural and
heavy equipment components and boat hulls and
decks.
Kinro Composites’ technical experience and
large-part thermoforming capabilities were demonstrated
by earning the People’s Choice Award at
the 2003 Thermoforming Conference with its entry
of an 18-foot pleasure boat assembled by Four
Winds.
Kinro Composites is certified ISO 9001-2000 with
emphasis on customer satisfaction and continuous
