Purpose
& Overview
This seminar is structured to provide designers
with a fundamental understanding of the principles
involved in analyzing polymer flow as related
to die design. Design procedures for several types
of dies and end products are explained and illustrated.
Each participant receives demonstration software
illustrating computer-aided analysis techniques.
Participants are urged
to bring notebook computers to the seminar in
order to participate in hands-on design problems.
Who
should attend?
Although the seminar is presented on an engineering
level, experienced die designers will also gain
insights into solving complex flow problems.
