Purpose & Overview
This seminar is valuable for technical, scientific and engineering personnel, either entering the field of plastics or interested in broadening their knowledge of materials and processing techniques. The presentation is descriptive and practical. It is widely illustrated with photographs. It is also suitable for people in plastics sales, purchasing, marketing and management positions who do not possess a technical, engineering or scientific background.

Classes of Polymeric Materials
• Thermoplastics: Non-crystallizing (PVC, PS, ABS, PC, PPO, etc.)
Crystallizing (PE, PP, PET, PBT, PA, PMO, etc.)
• Thermosets: Temperature, catalyst or mixing-activated (PF, UF, PU, etc.)
• Elastomers.

Processing Techniques
