Daniel Cykana is the Director of Extrusion Engineering at Bemis Contract Extrusion, in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He directs and mentors the engineering staff for the extrusion division and is responsible for new product design, new processes, process applications on both single and twin-screw extruders. He has been involved in the plastics industry for 38 years contributing numerous utility process patents. Daniel has been a Senior Member of the SPE since 1985. He has been on the Extrusion Board of Directors for 6 years and has been active in several educational programs for the Society of the Plastic Engineers. He has taught several Die Design seminars with Dr. Chris Rauwendaal.
