Robert Dealey

Bob has thirty years experience in engineering, design, building, consulting and productionizing of sophisticated high cavitation runnerless injection molds. A graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, he held engineering and management positions prior to forming and operating his own plastics management, marketing, and technical consulting firm. He is internationally recognized as an author, presenter and for his extensive experience and expertise in injection mold building, engineering and troubleshooting.

A SPE member since 1971, he was Past President and Director of the Mold Making and Mold Design Division and the I.T. Quanstrom Foundation, and was awarded Honored Service Member status in 1994. He authored the chapter on Mold Making and Materials for the SPI Handbook, the chapters on Mold Design and Mold Maintenance for SPE’s Plastics Technician Tool Box and has presented numerous ANTEC, RETEC, Top Con and Technical Conference papers throughout North America and Europe. In 1994, the Mold Making and Mold Design Division of SPE named Bob “Mold Designer of the Year.”
