Dr. Soni has a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. His current position is Vice President, Product Research and Development at Alexza Molecular Delivery Corporation. His research and development interests include structure-processing-property relationships, crosslinking, crystallization, mechanical and electrical behavior of filled and unfilled polymer systems, and medical applications of polymers. He has authored eleven (11) papers and fifty (50) patents on these subjects, and has taught courses in polymer physics at Society of Plastics Engineers' meetings.
