A SPE member may be nominated for the Honored Service Member grade by the board of directors of a Section, Division, or by the SPE HSM Nominating Committee. To continue this stage of the nomination process:

  • The nominating organization has contacted, in writing, the SPE Staff Liaison to verify the candidate’s eligibility.
  • The nominating organization has designated a Process Champion to follow through with the application process.
  • The nominating organization has contacted the nominee and obtained the name of a sponsor.
