Industry executives gave their perspective on the state of our industry. This year's sessions included:

Plastics & The Environment: It’s Not Just Bags, Bottles and Straws

A variety of viewpoints on topics like reduce/reuse/recycle, circular economy, advanced recycling etc., representing all industries which use plastics (consumer and industrial). The focus was on how these vertical industries are addressing any negative environmental impacts of pre- and post-use plastic in their businesses. Real-world examples of the good things that people, and companies are doing to mitigate issues related to the use of plastic by their business and customers were showcased.

Emerging Plastics Technologies: What Are the Next Big Things on the Plastics Horizon

From metallocene catalysis to additive manufacturing, SPE has covered these game changing technologies. What’s the “next big thing”? Our speakers shared their predictions. Topics covered: Biomimetic Polymeric and Composite Materials, Advances with Cyclic Monomers, AI/Big Data/Robotics, Plastics and Pandemics, Lightweighting through the use of composites, carbon fiber, and graphene, high performance foams  and sandwich structures, and more.

ANTEC® Classic

May 10-21, 2021

ANTEC® Classic offered real-time, remote presentations that occurred over 10-days with 20 technical tracks.

The industry’s top researchers discussed their latest findings. In the traditional ANTEC® format, 200+ papers across a wide variety of topics were presented. Presentations took place in real-time, with Q&A after each presentation. You can now watch the recorded sessions on-demand on your schedule.
