SPE ANTEC® 2020: The Virtual Edition

FAQs

Q: What is ANTEC®2020: The Virtual Edition?

(REGULAR ANTEC®) – (TRAVEL) + (SOCIAL DISTANCING) = ANTEC® 2020: THE VIRTUAL EDITION

After hearing individually from hundreds of ANTEC® attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors it became clear that meeting in-person in just a few weeks was an impossibility. Unanimous, however, was the desire (need!) to hear from the speakers scheduled to present. ANTEC® 2020: THE VIRTUAL EDITION addresses this need.

Q: How will ANTEC® 2020: The Virtual Edition work?

On Monday, March 30, ANTEC® will open as planned — but virtually. You'll hear a welcome speech (live!) from SPE President Dr. Brian Landes followed by a must-see (live!) keynote session. Over the following few days, and continuing periodically for some weeks, you'll see the (live!) presentation of the ANTEC® program tracks – with the papers and presenters originally scheduled to speak in San Antonio. You may attend some or all of these (live!) sessions, and they'll also be available recorded for on-demand playback. We will announce more details, including a schedule of presentations and speakers, next week.

Q: I already registered for ANTEC®. What do I need to do?

Over the next week you will receive details for converting your ANTEC® registration into a seat at ANTEC® 2020: THE VIRTUAL EDITION. Watch your email for further updates and information.
