Applying Manufacturing Principles to Additive

Abstract

I have spent the last eight years demonstrating manufacturing principles to the Additive Manufacturing Industry, educating the possibilities for the advancement into mainstream manufacturing. By applying these principles in secondary processes will create Additive polymer and metal parts equal to conventionally manufactured parts.

About the Speaker

John Oney is 40 plus years in different fields of manufacturing. CNC machinist, form tool maker, mass finishing development in Conventional and Additive Manufactured parts, application development, and improvement utilizing Additive technologies achieving lean processes for conventional manufacturing. The developer of mechanical treatment in additive parts achieving suitability for aerospace and automotive parts fully automated. Jewelry Manufacturing from lost wax casting, fabrication, mold making, and diamond setting. The last 8 years educating Additive Manufacturing on the need for implementation of Manufacturing principles to advance into the mainstream for sustained growth for parts-on-demand capabilities
