SPE Foundation 2017 Scholarship Award Recipients Announced

BETHEL, CT., U.S.A., September, 19, 2017: The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has announced the winners of the 2017 scholarship program administered by SPE Foundation, including 44 scholarships totaling over $109,000.
The awards, made to students who have demonstrated or expressed an interest in the plastics industry, are listed below, with the recipients.
Benjamin Letherer, a Ferris State University senior studying Plastics Engineering Technology (SPE Foundation-Art Haas scholarship - $3,000)
 
Dylan Hett, a Kettering University senior studying Mechanical Engineering (SPE Foundation-Carl Haas scholarship - $3,000)
 
Andrew Puck, a University of Wisconsin-Madison senior studying Chemical Engineering (Detroit section-Norm Kakarala scholarship - $3,000)
 
Nicholas Moore, a Pennsylvania College of Technology junior studying Plastics & Polymer Engineering Technologies (Detroit section-Robert G. Dailey scholarship - $3,000)

The SPE Foundation supports the development of plastics professionals by funding and supporting quality educational programs, scholarships, and student experiences. Scholarship applicants must be majoring in or taking courses that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics industry. All applicants must be in good standing with their colleges.
