Education Expo is an annual event of SPE Golden Gate Section where students active in Bay Area university SPE chapters present their plastics-related projects, are awarded scholarships, and have a chance to interact with those in industry on a personal level.
The objective of the SPE Golden Gate Section is to promote scientific and engineering knowledge related to plastics and help develop the future scientists and engineers of tomorrow.
The program includes a networking lunch, overview of university programs, poster presentations, and awards!
SPE GGS is motivated to support plastics education and is working hard to strengthen our commitment to the student SPE chapters (SJSU, Chico State and UC Berkeley). We encourage members and non-members in the professional community to attend the Education Expo 2020 and learn more about the plastics-related programs and projects at each university, and network with engineering students! Attached is a flyer detailing respective student chapter motto.
