The talk will focus on BASF’s INFINERGY® expandable thermoplastic polyurethane, which is the world’s first E-TPU. The evolution of the product and its position in the marketplace will be reviewed. Technical benefits and material properties will be presented including its superior energy return and resiliency. The talk will finish with the review of some current commercial applications of the material in use.
Gregory Sanders has over 20 years of particle foam experience, mainly in the areas of technical sales and application research and development. Greg used this experience to launch an international technical service consulting company, which focused on supporting particle foam customers and other manufacturers. When not working with particle foams, he consulted globally (13 countries on 4 continents) focusing on crisis management related to reducing scrap in a variety of manufacturing operations. For the last two years Greg has held the position of BASF Infinergy® Technical Sales – Americas focusing his energy on the application development and technical sales geared toward expanding the Infinergy benefits to customers in the Americas. Greg is a lifetime runner and has run a sub 4:00 marathon.
