About the Speaker

As a Global Market Development Engineer, Jason Lopes specializes in working closely with partners of the Carbon Production Network to help streamline their low volume prototyping and production workflows to optimize for scale. Prior to Carbon, he had over 10 years experience in visual effects and animation, designing for notable works such as Avatar; Ironman 1, 2, 3; Avengers 1, 2 and the upcoming third; Pacific Rim and Jurassic World. He was awarded 3D Printing Industry’s Maker Of The Year 2017, the DINO (Distinguished Innovative Operators Award) in 2012 by the Additive Manufacturing Users Group.
