ANTEC® 2021 Recap

The latest edition of ANTEC®, SPE’s Annual Technical Conference, began on May 5, 2021, with an address by SPE President Jaime Gómez emphasizing the positive impact of plastics on life and recognizing the challenges the industry faces in many areas. The conference, like 2020, was virtual, owing to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With nearly 1,100 attendees and 215 speakers, ANTEC® 2021 kicked off with 17 Industry Insights Sessions from May 5-7, which included plastics leaders who shared their valuable plastics industry insights. And 121 ANTEC® Classic Sessions took place May 10-21, offering live, remote presentations (including Q&A) occurring over 10-days with 20 technical tracks. ANTEC® 2021 also included 50+ On-demand Presentations as well as 19 Student Posters.
