  • Log into the SPE site.
  • After you've logged in, visit the ACCE Navigation page.
  • The ACCE Navigation page has links to all the features of the conference. Click on the item for the feature you wish to visit. Note that some features are only open at specific times as indicated on the schedule.
  • To see the event schedule, from the ACCE Navigation page, click on the Schedule item.
  • Log into the SPE site.
  • After you've logged in, visit the ACCE Navigation page.
  • From the ACCE Navigation page, click on the Technical Sessions item.
  • You will be transferred to Zoom.
  • If you do not have Zoom installed yet, it will download and install the Zoom app.
  • After entering some contact information, you will connect using your computer's audio and video.
  • If you receive a message showing the date and time of the event when you are transferred to Zoom, check the date and start time of the event, including the timezone. Make sure to join when the event is live.
  • If the Zoom event has not been opened yet for attendees, you'll see the following message: "Please wait for the host to start this webinar." Once the event is opened for attendees, you will be automatically entered.

If you cannot install Zoom:

  • There is an option to attend a Zoom event from your browser, but it will require you to set up a Zoom account to access an event. When you click on the Technical Sessions item, if you hit cancel when the download/installation box comes up., you will see a link on the screen to attend the event by your browser. Follow the instructions.
  • If you still cannot access the event, please note that all presentations where the speaker allows will be recorded for your viewing at your leisure.

If you are having problems hearing the presentation in Zoom:

  • If you have audio issues, please follow the Zoom Computer Audio Help to test and set audio on your computer or Zoom Mobile Device Audio Help if you are using a mobile device.
  • Your reminder also has a phone number you can call if you wish to listen using your phone.

How to ask a speaker questions in Zoom:

  • At the bottom of your Zoom window, there is a Q&A option. Click it to open the Q&A box.
  • You can enter questions into the Q&A box at any time during a presentation.
  • Speakers will answer questions from the Q&A box after the presentation.
  • If questions similar to yours are already in the Q&A box, the moderator may decide to combine them when asking the speaker.
  • If there is not enough time to get to your question, you can follow up with the speaker after the event.
  • If you want to ask for some Zoom help relating to a specific presentation, put a message in the chat window to all panelists.
  • Log into the SPE site.
  • After you've logged in, visit the ACCE Navigation page.
  • From the ACCE Navigation page, click on the Sponsor Lounges, Networking or Student Posters item.
  • You will be transferred to Remo.
  • If you have not used Remo before, you will be asked to create an account when the event's landing page appears. Follow instructions to create an account.
  • When the event is open, the landing page will have a button to enter.
  • Watch a quick Remo tutorial to learn the basics of using Remo.
  • See an overview of what you can do in Remo.

If you are having issues using Remo:

  • Please visit the Remo System Check Page to test your system, browser, webcam, microphone and speakers to see if they are compatible. You may need to try a different browser.
  • Please visit the Remo Troubleshooting Center for information on resolving a variety of problems.
  • If you get a warning from AVG Antivirus about Remo site security, please add the website "live.remo.co" to your AVG Antivirus scanning exclusion list using these instructions.
  • Log into the SPE site.
  • After you've logged in, visit the ACCE Navigation page.
  • Note the Exhibitor/Virtual Trade Show Hours listed on the side of this page and in the event schedule.
  • From the ACCE Navigation page, click on the Exhibitors item.
  • You will be transferred to the event app area's Exhibitors section.
  • Click on the name of an exhibitor to see their listing.
  • If the exhibitor has set up a live chat for this event, you will see it listed here. If you do not see a specific link, you can contact them via their email under a representative in the Virtual Staff section.
  • If the exhibitor has a link to make an appointment, you will see it listed here. If you do not see a specific link, you can contact them via their email under a representative in the Virtual Staff section.
  • Scroll down to the Virtual Staff section to see company representatives who can help you with questions about the company and its products/services. Click on a name to get contact details.
  • Scroll down to the Resources section to see brochures, videos and other company materials.

We've made navigating the ACCE 2020 virtual event easy with a page designed to get you where you want quickly. Attend ACCE 2020 by:

  1. Logging into the SPE site using your registration email and password.
  2. Opening the ACCE Navigation page to access all the parts of the event.

Maximizing Your Experience

  1. Map out your schedule. View the full agenda, including session title, speakers, biographies and scheduled events.
  2. Verify that your device and browser are compatible with Zoom, used for keynotes, awards and technical sessions, and review its features. See Test Your Audio and Attending an Event.
  3. Verify that your device and browser are compatible with Remo, used for networking, sponsor lounges and student posters, and review its features. See Test Your System and Quick Tutorial Video.
  4. Engage with attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. Access the full list of "Who's Attending" from the ACCE Navigation page. Reach out to network and make the most of the event through the chat features in Zoom and Remo. Connect with old friends and make new contacts in the networking events.
  5. Visit the Virtual Trade Show. Live chat with exhibitors during virtual trade show hours. Learn about the cutting-edge products and services they have to offer.
  6. Discuss Student Posters. Students will be presenting their latest research in the Student Poster event.
  • If the Technical Sessions/Zoom are not reachable or loading, we will update the ACCE Navigation page, Technical Sessions option with a link to an alternative room in Remo.
  • If the SPE website is not reachable or loading, please wait a few minutes and try again. You will receive an email with alternate directions if the SPE website is down for an extended period.
  • If Sponsor Lounges, Networking or Student Posters in Remo are not reachable or loading, please return to the Technical Sessions Zoom room for instructions.
