Industry leaders and decision makers joined forces on July 15th & 16th 2021 to discuss recycling opportunities and overcoming challenges during the pandemic and complexities within the recycling industry. The two-day conference included networking, knowledge sharing and ideation across the plastics ecosystem.
The conference had +250 delegates from over 20 countries virtually tune in for the conference. Companies such as Colgate, ICIS, Borouge, Expra and even key Governmental bodies of India took part in exciting presentations and panel discussions. Few of the topics included were ‘Circular Economy: Global Best Practices’, ‘Challenges in Collection & Segregation of Plastics Waste’ and ‘Creating a Vibrant Market for Plastic Recyclate’.
This year’s conference was organized by Polymerupdate, PWorld Technology Pvt Ltd, SPE (Society of Plastic Engineers) Global and SPE India. The conference was supported by Plastivsion India and had the privilege of having Borouge and Lyondellbasell as conference patrons.
Mr. Sajjid Mitha, CEO of Polymerupdate, Polymerupdate Academy and PWorld Technology Pvt Ltd, said, “As we strive towards greater sustainability, I am confident that RACE Conferences will offer a recognised and global platform of choice for the world’s best knowledge givers and knowledge seekers on the subject of Recycling And Circular Economy. Our next conference is scheduled on the 7th and 8th of October this year. We hope to have all our readers register for RACE Americas."
As RACE 4’s leg in Asia concluded, organizers, patrons and delegates have already started to get ready for RACE 4 Americas which will be held virtually on October 7th and 8th 2021.
