Abstract

The dissertation will provide a detailed overview of the methodical path employed to optimize the material and process. The qualification resulting in the generation of an exhaustive design data base, execution of a classic composites industry building block approach, exploring and identifying design rules, implementation of advanced military and space platforms as the early adopters culminating in commercial airplane qualification and production will be showcased. Lastly the value proposition of the most appropriate applications and examples of actual production applications will be highlighted.
