Dr. Markus Eisenhauer es el Jefe de Computación Centrada en el Usuario del Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT), en Sankt Augustin, Alemania. Estudió Psicología e Informática en la Universidad de Trier en Alemania y recibió un doctorado en Psicología Cognitiva de la misma Universidad. Desde 2001 trabaja en el Instituto Fraunhofer de Tecnología de la Información aplicada (FIT) y su investigación se enfoca en Computación Ubicua, Internet de las cosas, Sistemas embebidos y Cyber-físicos, así como en Interacción M2M y HM, Usabilidad y conformidad de la Web.

El Dr. Eisenhauer es coordinador y ha participado en varios grandes proyectos europeos (German Industrie 4.0 y European IoT). Trabaja como experto para la Comisión Europea y es responsable de las Relaciones Internacionales del Cluster FInES (Future Internet Enterprise Systems).

Dr. Markus Eisenhauer is the Head of User-Centered Computing Research Department. Dr. Eisenhauer studied Psychology and Informatics at the University of Trier in Germany and received a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the same University. Since 2001, he has worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for applied Information Technology (FIT) and is leading the Research Department on User Centered Computing, focusing on Ubiquitous Computing, Internet of Things, embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems, as well on M2M and HM-Interaction, Usability and Web-Compliance.

He is the coordinator of several big European Projects and has participated in a multitude of large-scale national funded and European projects (German Industrie 4.0 and European IoT). He works as a Program Chair of international Conferences and editor of scientific Journals. He works as Expert for the European Commission and is responsible for the International Relations of the FInES Cluster (Future Internet Enterprise Systems).
