Dr. Rodrigo Orozco trabaja como Global Application Development Leader en Ascend Performance Materials. Previamente, Rodrigo trabajó como Principal Application and Product Development Engineer y CAE Engineer en Asahi Kasei y BASF ayudando a clientes diseñar sus productos con materiales termoplásticos. Rodrigo ha liderado y ha participado en el desarrollo de aplicaciones que han recibido el premio de innovación de SPE Automotive. Adicionalmente, Rodrigo trabaja como Intersociety Chair para la division automotriz de SPE. Rodrigo posee un Ph.D. en Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison enfocado en análisis structural con polímeros. En la oficina y en casa, Rodrigo es conocido por su pasion de hacer una buena taza de café, preferiblemente Colombiano.

Dr. Rodrigo Orozco works as a Global Application Development Leader at Ascend Performance Materials. Previously, Rodrigo worked as Principal Application and Product Development Engineer and CAE Engineer at Asahi Kasei and BASF helping clients design their products with thermoplastic materials. Rodrigo has led and participated in the development of applications that have received the SPE Automotive Innovation Award. Additionally, Rodrigo works as an Intersociety Chair for SPE's automotive division. Rodrigo has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison focused on structural analysis with polymers. In the office and at home, Rodrigo is known for his passion for making a good cup of coffee, preferably Colombian.
