Fischer Tropsch Wax: Boosting Performance in Rigid PVC Extrusion

Abstract

In this paper, through the use of case studies, Sasol will present how synthetic Fischer Tropsch wax can be used as very efficient external lubricants in this application, and highlight some of the unexpected performance benefits that are associated with these additives not only in the quality of the final PVC article but also in the effects seen during the extrusion process.
