Polymers Hard at Work in Your Smart Phone

Abstract

Polymers play a key part of the manufacturing of electronic devices. The presentation will provide an overview of the polymers used in in smart phones including epoxies, acrylics, bismaleimides, cyanate esters and UV cured thermosets. Emphasis will be placed on the structure-property-processing relationships required to make mobile devices highly reliable.
