Summary
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Organic and Polymeric Materials, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. I have been awarded the Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral Fellowship (Mainz University, Germany) and the Japan Society for Promotion of Science Postdoctoral Fellowship (Tokyo Institute of Technology). I served as a senior research scientist at the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials, University of Southern Mississippi and at the Center for Biomaterial Development, Institute of Polymer Research, GKSS, Germany. I also worked as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State University and Senor Polymer Engineer at Schlumberger. I published over 100 peer-reviewed journal papers with approximately 3200 citations. I also published 8 patents, one book, 9 book chapters, and presented more than 60 talks at national and international meetings, and serves as a frequent reviewer and referee.
