  • Developed on-line distance education graduate program in polymer science and engineering (certificates) as well as masters degrees. I currently serve as the program director for over 40 distance education students.
  • Enhanced on-campus masters and PhD programs by expanding course offerings and graduate student recruiting.
  • Interact with local industry (plastics users) to solve technical problems.
  • Help organize faculty teams for large-scale research proposals involving plastics.
  • Write equipment proposals to various agencies to expand the capability of the Center.

  • Focused oncharacterizing/modeling creep and impact behavior as well as developed new blends.
  • Co-wrote 1986 Dutch Patent on Easy Flow PC/PBT Blends.
