Anil is a Gold Medalist in Master of Engineering in mechanical from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His primary expertise is in application development, structural design, engineering & manufacturability using thermoplastics and hybrid materials for light weighting, performance enhancement and part integration. Currently, Anil is part of Global Application Technology group, and he is focusing on development of thermoplastic material solutions for automotive including EV batteries and other segments such as foam and lightweight for packaging application. He holds 17+ U.S. patents and has co-authored ten publications in reputed international conferences.

Anil has been working on core back foam injection molding since last seven years and has authored several conference proceedings in core back foam injection molding, he has developed a method to characterize core back foam injection molding to get material properties for design and engineering. His methods have been used for developing demonstration parts using core back foam application showing cost and weight savings. He is also supporting several projects for OMEs and tiers focusing on developing parts using core back foaming technology.
